Pro Tools

My opinion after 11 years of Pro tools*

My ride-or-die DAW. All the vocal sauce, the butter baskets, the OG formula is whipped up in Pro Tools. I learned it back in college as the industry standard and it holds true, but has a steep learning curve in my opinion. I can't say I would recommend it for people starting off, although I often use it in combination with Ableton and the workflow is smooth. While some of my favorite beats / songs I made in Pro Tools, Ableton helps me jump in and run with any inspiration allowing me to move faster and churn out more ideas. More isn't always better though so take it with a grain of salt, more or less.
